What is Ghost Writing?
Ghostwriting is the practice of writing books on behalf of someone else who is credited as the author.
It allows individuals to share their ideas, stories, or expertise without having to do the writing themselves. Whether you’re a busy professional, a thought leader, or someone with a powerful story to tell, ghostwriters help bring your voice to life in polished, publishable form.
What we offer you is a discreet, collaborative service tailored to your needs, from concept development and research to full manuscript creation, editing, and formatting. You retain full ownership and authorship while we do the writing behind the scenes, ensuring your message is communicated clearly, professionally, and in your unique voice.

What are the different types of editing stages your book will go through?
1. Developmental Editing (or Structural Editing):
This is the big-picture edit. It focuses on the overall structure, content, and flow of the manuscript. Editors look at plot, pacing, character development (in fiction), clarity of argument (in non-fiction), organisation, and consistency. This type of editing often involves major rewrites or restructuring.
2. Line Editing:
Line editing focuses on the craft of writing at the sentence and paragraph level. It improves flow, tone, style, and readability. A line editor may suggest rephrasing, trimming wordy passages, or enhancing the voice while ensuring consistency and smooth transitions.
3. Copy Editing:
This is a more technical edit that corrects grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, and usage errors. It ensures the manuscript is clean, correct, and internally consistent (e.g. spelling of names, timeline continuity, etc.).
4. Proofreading:
The final polish before publication. Proofreading checks for minor errors like typos, formatting issues, and overlooked mistakes from previous stages. It ensures the manuscript is publication ready.
5. Fact-Checking (for Non-Fiction):
This involves verifying facts, statistics, names, dates, and references to ensure accuracy and credibility.
6. Formatting or Typesetting Review:
Though not always considered editing, this stage involves checking layout, fonts, headings, spacing, and other visual elements to ensure the manuscript meets publishing standards.
Each type of editing plays a vital role in refining a manuscript from rough draft to polished publication. Often, more than one type is needed throughout the writing journey.
